Reads real map.dat files and decodes colors using Minecraft’s actual 62-entry internal base-color table (4 brightness shades each), so block colors match the game exactly. Map markers, banners, and player/item-frame icons drawn on top of the map are not rendered — only the base terrain color grid. Your file is read entirely in your browser and never uploaded anywhere.
