        How the statue is made

Each pixel of the skin becomes one block, or a square of blocks at a larger scale. The head is 8 blocks on every side, the body 8 wide, 12 tall and 4 deep, and each arm and leg 4 wide, 12 tall and 4 deep — 3 wide for slim arms. A 64×64 skin therefore stands 32 blocks tall at one block per pixel; a 128×128 skin keeps its extra detail and stands 64 tall.

A block on an edge shows two or three faces of the skin at once, and one block can only be one colour. It takes the colour of the face you are most likely to look at: the front first, then the back, then the sides, the top and the bottom. Faces pressed against another part of the body never decide a colour, because nobody will see them.

Colours are compared in CIELAB against the average colour of each block's real texture, the same measurement the pixel-art converter uses. Every block on offer is a full cube with the same texture on all six sides, so the colour it was picked for is the colour you see from every direction, and none of them falls, melts, spreads, glows or weathers. Copper is always the waxed kind.

        Building it

Hollow statues keep only the blocks that touch the outside, so the inside is empty and nothing you would see is missing. Start at layer 1, the soles of the feet, and work upwards; the layer plan shows each layer from above with its own block count, and "Cut at layer" shows the same slice in 3D.

The outer skin layer — hats, hair, jackets, sleeves — is painted onto the blocks underneath rather than built out as a second shell, which would need half-block steps Minecraft cannot place.

        Which file to download

        • WorldEdit and FAWE paste the .schem file.
        • The Litematica mod reads the .litematic file and shows the statue as a see-through guide to build over.
        • A vanilla structure block loads the .nbt file when no side is longer than 48 blocks, and the place template command places it at any size.
        • Bedrock reads the .mcstructure file, which uses Bedrock's own block names.

Every Java file is stamped with the data version of Minecraft 26.3, the current release.
